Building Connections For Safer Spaces

For Safer Spaces is a collaborative effort from local agencies, business and services in the Fargo Moorhead Greater Area who have experience working with community members who have been uncertain of where to turn when faces with an unsafe home.

A project sponsored by the Fargo Moorhead Hoarders Coalition, For Safer Spaces is trying to remove the negative stigma that comes with being overwhelmed and at a loss with the state of one's home.

2-6% of the population experience hoarding compulsions. But we know mental health, grief,  medical conditions and many other factors can contribute to what can be called hoarding.Whether you are a concerned neighbor, a family member seeking resources or you are looking for guidance yourself, we are here to compassionately and confidentially assist in connecting our community with local resources for safer spaces.
